Varya Private Limited was established in India in 1942 by two Norwegians as a trading company importing mainly Ferro alloys and Paper pulp. The company later diversified into various other sectors, supplying equipment and services to the Maritime, Defence, Shipyard infrastructure, Oil & Gas, Oceanographic Sciences, Hydrogen users and steel industry.
Today, Varya has a pan-India presence in 8 locations across India, with its head office located in Mumbai.

OEM Business – Marine (when Marine is selected) Varya represents the worlds best technology providers for sales, marketing, installation/ commissioning and after sales service including spares distribution. Varya is a meeting point between Indian customers and the Technology providers for ships’ equipment and shipyard infrastructure. We have a large service team that can assist our OEM’s with any service requirements as well as local manufacturing. Our work in a project for these original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) begins from identifying projects in their nascent stage and we take them through the complete business cycle until satisfactory commissioning and completion of a contract. Our ‘product champion’ principle, where individual members of the sales team take care of specific OEMs and their products, allows a focused approach so OEMs are assured of all the support they need during the complete life-cycle of a project.
